Employees who work more than six hours per day are entitled to a <strong data-start=\"4752\" data-end=\"4787\">minimum lunch break of one hour<\/strong>. If the daily work period exceeds four hours but does not reach six, the minimum break is fifteen minutes.<\/p><p data-start=\"4896\" data-end=\"5129\">When the employer fails to grant the legally required break, the consequence is severe.
